Flamingo - Bat Islands - Coco Island

Flamingo: Flamingo is the only full service marina in the Guanacaste region, and surrounding area. It is the departure point of all our trips. It is perfectly located to the best Hot Spots of the zone (only 7-10 Km Roca Sucia - Roca Elefante - Catalina Island - Brumel Islands). We offer over 30 kinds of trips, with which we aim to satisfy both the adventurous beginner to the most demanding expert in the field. The zone is renowned for its marine richness and for the exceptional dimensions of these creatures: giant mantas, sharks: bull, black and white fin, turtles, manta rays (with a diameter of 1,5 mts), cernias, pargo, etc. In order to impress even the most experienced of divers there are other big species like "carandigi" to be found - often in groups with thousands of them together, and huge examples of the species are found in the waters. Mantas that can even darken the sunlight when they pass overhead, and other more common species such as Papagayo, sword fish, Butterfly fish, Chirurgo, Lobster, etc. make for a thrilling adventure!

In addition to these many tours we organize day trips, for groups with a minimum of 6 people, to the Bat Islands. As part of Santa Rosa National Park, it offers fabulous diving, but is only to be imparted by experts. The trip includes 2 dives, lunch and the round trip in boat - it takes around 1 and a half hours each way.

We offer dive master trilingual instructors (English, Spanish and Italian). We have several boats for all needs and requests. We have all the necessary equipment is: Erogatori Mares Mriz Orbiter, Sherwood Brut, Jackets (Mares Vector origen Sherwood, Mute, O'Neil y Body Glove), flipers Cressi, compresor.

We offer a specially tailored diving package, consisting of 10 days 9 nights (the first and last of which will be spent in San José - to aid arrival and exit from Costa Rica). The trip includes 5 diving trips each with 2 dives per day, around the many locations that the area offers. Here, accomodation will be provided half board (both breakfast and dinner included) and Bed and Breakfast accomodation in San José. Your transfers both to and from the Bahía Esmeralda (from San José) are included in the package price. Package price of $900 per person.

Lodging is in a double room or a quadrauple room with kitchen. Please note that the Bat Islands are not included as a dive site - for those that wish to dive there, it is an extra $70 per person.

We can also organize trips by sailboat or yacht to the Coco Island, for groups only, which take between 9 and 11 days. Information about these trips is by request.
